Your Support Brings Learning to Life

The Foundation for Bedford Central Schools funds leading-edge academic initiatives across all seven schools in our district. During the 2025–2026 school year, the Foundation funded more than $55,000 in innovative programs across every BCSD school, reaching hundreds of students from kindergarten through grade 12.

Your support helped make possible:

• Hands-on field trips and experiential learning, including visits to Washington, D.C., Arthur Avenue, Lake Compounce, and more

• Outdoor learning spaces, including the Reading Garden Outdoor Classroom and a pollinator-friendly Bug B&B

• Arts and music opportunities, including the National Orchestra Festival and animation programming

• Literacy, STEM, and academic enrichment through author visits, Ozobots, trout release studies, and other engaging initiatives

• Health, wellness, and student support programs, including heart-rate sensors, fine-motor workshops, and sensory-regulation resources

These opportunities help students explore new interests, connect classroom learning to the real world, and develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive.
