Each year, since 2020, The Foundation has supported Fox Lane High School Juniors through the college application process through common application essay-writing workshops led by FLHS English teachers. The college essay workshop works in conjunction with Community volunteers providing dozens of students support with mock college interviews and valuable feedback, including practice with remote interviews.

Scholarship funds ensure that every eighth-grade student can participate in the DC capstone trip, regardless of financial circumstances. This opportunity allows all students to experience Washington, DC, and deepen their learning beyond the classroom.

Students and staff, led by Madalyn Grano at Bedford Village Elementary created a vibrant mosaic mural inspired by social-emotional learning, the Mood Meter, and the many feelings we experience. Together, the artwork celebrates self-expression, connection, and emotional well-being.

Foundation funding provided Fox Lane High School’s Science Olympiad team with essential supplies to prepare for the 2025 competition. These resources support hands-on learning, teamwork, and STEM achievement.

Flagway is an engaging, team-based math competition that combines movement, strategy, and problem-solving as students work together to identify mathematical patterns and capture the flag. Our funding helped make this exciting trip possible, allowing students to put their skills to the test, build confidence and teamwork, and represent our school community on the national stage.
